Trespass

What Is Included

It is essential for security officers to be aware of how trespassers violate different types of properties because trespassing can pose a significant threat to the safety and security of people and property. Trespassing occurs when an individual enters onto property without permission or authority to do so.

Trespassing on open land or public property may result in damage to the property or natural resources, and may also pose a danger to people who use the area. Security officers must be aware of the risks associated with trespassing on open land or public property and have the skills and knowledge necessary to deter and respond to these incidents.

Trespassing on private property or private buildings can also pose a significant security risk. Intruders may attempt to steal or damage property, or engage in other illegal activities. Security officers must be able to identify and respond to these types of incidents effectively, including working with law enforcement as needed to remove the trespasser and protect the property.

Additionally, security officers must be knowledgeable about how trespassers violate places of public accommodation and public access, such as retail stores, restaurants, and other public areas. Trespassing in these areas can pose a threat to the safety and security of customers and employees, as well as result in loss or damage to property. Security officers must be able to identify and respond to these types of incidents, including working with law enforcement as needed to remove the trespasser and protect the public.

Overall, security officers play a critical role in protecting property and ensuring the safety of people who use and occupy different types of spaces. By understanding how trespassers can violate open land, private property, private buildings, public property, and places of public accommodation/public access, security officers can effectively deter and respond to these incidents, reducing risks to people and property.

Guard Duty Corp Difference

While online security guard training courses may offer convenience, they cannot compare to the benefits of learning in person from a qualified instructor. Online courses can be seen as a shortcut to getting a certificate, but lack the personalized attention and practical experience provided by in-person training. In-person training provides students with the opportunity to receive real-time feedback and personalized attention, as well as the chance to practice their skills in simulated real-world scenarios.

In a classroom you can ask questions, debate situations, and engage in experiential learning that reinforces the complex rules and regulations associated with the security field.

Why try to teach yourself how to be a 21st-century security guard when you can have our experienced staff with over 20 years of security and law enforcement experience guide you?

Renee’ Jackson, CA

It is my sincere pleasure to write a review for Dr. Will. I took the Basic Firearm class, in January 2023. I was a person who never felt there was a need to handle, let alone be in possession of a firearm. Dr. Will made me, and the other members of the class feel comfortable. He shared information with us, that allowed me to make my best decision. Secondly, I felt his patience and clarity in instruction made the class rewarding and informative.  We finished the classroom instruction with training at the firing range. The range experience was positive because I could use the information given in the classroom setting with practical application. Once again, his attention to detail, clarity in instructions, and patience made the experience positive and the knowledge valuable.
